Emily Ratajkowski Prom Proposal Video

The creative person that I did my research on was the blogger Jason Kottke. The blogging style of Kottke is very similar to that of many other popular and famous bloggers. What Kottke often does is he will find a popular video, news article or something that he finds interesting, and he will share his feelings about it in a unique and funny way in the form of a blog. In order to imitate Kottke's blogging style I found the following video online, and I did my best to share my feelings on it in a humorous and unique way.

So let me start off by saying that if you didn't watch the video you really should. It will be worth your time. Secondly if you don't know who Emily Ratajkowski is let me explain. Emily Ratajkowski is a model and actress originally from Great Britain, and she is best known for her part in the music video for the song "Blurred Lines," by Robin Thicke. Now that you know who Emily Ratajkowski is I hope you can appreciate the guts that it took for this high school student to ask her to prom.

Now lets break down this prom proposal. I would have to say that this may be the most creative and well planned out prom proposal I have ever seen. It is much better than my prom proposal, which consisted of me asking the a girl if she would go to prom with me. This video obviously took a lot of time to think of, and it probably took even more time to film and produce. The beginning of the video captured my attention when the high school student, Chase, pulled up in a Lotus, and then proceeded to show his massive house in the background. I also found his dialogue to be extremely entertaining. Such as when Chase says, "Emily, you're the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. Besides my mom." At this point if I was Emily Ratajkowski I would have already decided to say yes. Nevertheless, Chase continued to try convince Emily to go to prom with him. He demonstrated his amazing athletic abilities and he gave some information on his outstanding academic achievements. Finally the way that Chase ended the video was perfect. Riding off on a mini motorized scooter. Doesn't get much more seductive than that.

Obviously Chase's parents are getting dat paper (making a lot of money for the lay person), which helped him to make such an extravagant video. However, the humor and creativity of this video made it worth watching multiple times.

So what was Emily's response? Well she said no. I know right? How could she say no? Well on her Twitter account she tweeted out, "If his prom wasn't on my birthday, I'd be going!" That's a horrible excuse Emily! You will have plenty of birthdays, but this kid only gets one prom. Shame on you.
