One Cannot Simply "Imitate" Alex Pardee...

Let me start off by saying how absolutely terrible I am at drawing. Now that I have that out of the way, let me also tell you how I feel like a style like that of Alex Pardee cannot simply be “imitated”. I tried to pick out one of the more unique drawings to imitate but also one that I felt that I could even come close to imitating. Alex Pardee’s style and way of drawing is truly one in a million. The uniqueness that is present in each and every one of his drawings is so exemplary, that if someone even tried to copy them it wouldn't even come close to capturing the same motif of the original drawing. This particular drawing that I decided to imitate is really quite bizarre. It depicts a man in a suit with a giant hand as a head with each fingertip cut off and visceral display of blood splatter from each nub. How the heck does he come up with some of this stuff? I honestly wish I had the opportunity to meet him and ask him where he gets his ideas…
My attempt
Alex Pardee
